Plusnet broadband deals 'offer freedom of contract'
Posted 13th July 2010 at 11:37am by Ewan Taylor-Gibson
Consumers seeking the freedom to switch broadband provider at any point are being urged to sign up for Plusnet's web services.
The internet service provider (ISP) has taken out a national newspaper advertisement to remind customers that its broadband deals are available on a non-contract basis.
Plusnet Value broadband is available for just £6.49 per month to households possessing a router, and this arrangement can be cancelled at any point should the subscriber be unhappy with the service on offer.
The ISP is urging consumers to "enjoy the freedom of no contract broadband", in a market where 12 and 18 month deals are commonplace.
A £25 setup fee applies to customers wishing to pursue this high-flexibility option, while a Plusnet router can be purchased for £20 plus postage and packing.
Plusnet is currently offering half-price business broadband to UK companies for the first three months of their contract.
