Sky broadband deal: Sky Plus box offer ends today
Posted 15th July 2010 at 7:38pm by Oliver Folkard
Consumers aiming to acquire a free Sky+ box through the internet service provider's (ISP) latest deal must act quickly or face disappointment.
Sky is withdrawing the offer, which sees the recorder included for free with its latest 20Mb broadband, TV and landline bundle, later today (Thursday July 15th).
Would-be subscribers only have until the close of trade to take advantage of the special offer.
With a Sky+ box, subscription TV viewers can not only pause and rewind live television, but store up to 185 hours worth of programming to be watched at a later date.
Earlier this week, it was announced that the ISP's broadband TV deals have been boosted by the addition of Five HD.
The channel is available at position 171 on Sky's electronic programme guide, reports Digital Spy.
Popular shows such as Neighbours, and Home and Away will be shown on the high definition channel.
