Virgin Media broadband deal enters final week
Posted 17th August 2010 at 11:46am by Oliver Folkard
Consumers signing up for super-fast broadband with Virgin Media this week can take advantage of significant bill savings.
Up until August 22nd, the internet service provider (ISP) is offering two months free to those subscribing to its 20Mb web services.
In addition, new customers are exempt from paying an installation fee, enabling them to get online as cheaply and easily as possible.
Virgin Media said its customers can realistically expect to receive the advertised speeds of 20Mb as it advertises realistic download capabilities.
The ISP accused some of its rivals of exaggerating the capabilities of their broadband deals, essentially misleading subscribers over the speeds they can expect to access.
"Only Virgin Media delivers super-fast broadband, so whether it's downloading films or streaming live TV, we're officially the UK's fastest," the company claimed.
