Virgin Media broadband deal extended until end of August
Posted 24th August 2010 at 11:04am by Oliver Folkard
Leading internet service provider (ISP) Virgin Media has extended its two months free broadband deal for another week.
The offer, which was originally set to expire at the weekend, allows new subscribers to receive super-fast broadband at no charge for the initial part of their 12-month contract.
Free installation is also thrown into the deal as an added extra, although line rental charges are applicable during the first two months of the deal.
Virgin Media has extended the promotion until August 31st, allowing consumers more time to decide whether it is the broadband deal for them.
The ISP says the up to 20Mb broadband deal offers superior download speeds at peak times to its major rivals BT, Sky and TalkTalk.
"Only Virgin Media delivers super-fast broadband, so whether it's downloading films or streaming live TV, we're officially the UK's fastest," the firm said.
