12-month high-speed broadband deals 'available with Sky'
Posted 7th September 2010 at 3:38pm by Ewan Taylor-Gibson
Sky has turned to yet another fairytale character to promote its current broadband deals.
The Billy Goat, famous for his run-in with the angry troll living under the bridge, has been enlisted to highlight Sky's new one-year broadband deals.
In the advert, Sky urges consumers to sign up for one of its shorter-term deals, rather than a two-year contract it says are common among rival broadband providers.
"The Billy Goat didn't want to be gobbled up by BT's two-year contract deal," the ad states.
"So he went to Sky, who offer their best prices on a one-year contract for magical Sky TV, fast broadband and calls. The Billy Goat crossed the bridge for greener pastures and was never bothered again."
Last week, Sky hit back at Virgin Media's claims that it offers the fastest and most reliable broadband services in the UK.
