Broadband provider BeyonDSL has launched a new range of satellite broadband deals aimed at UK businesses and consumers.

The firm's ValuePlus 28.2°E packages operate via the Astra satellite, and offer download speeds of up to 6Mb.

Prices start at £14.99 per month for a 2Mb connection, with 6Mb available from £19.99 per month.

Mike Locke, Managing Director of BeyonDSL, said the firm was "very pleased" to announce an upgrade in both speed and value for its services.

"Since launch in 2009, speed has tripled and new types of service enhancements mean satellite's value has never been better," he added.

Patrick Biewer, Managing Director of Astra Broadband Services, said his company is continuously enhancing its offering.

"Our development roadmap indicates speeds of 16Mb to 20Mb by 2015," he added.

BE WARNED! Yes they sell a product then you cannot get hold of anyone to help on support. I purchased a 6MEG package and it only runs at 500kbps sent 3 emails and tried calling but no response!!
