Subscribers to broadband services who are irritated by slow connection speeds should be looking at the options available to them, according to one comparison site.
Broadband Choices has listed the top ten broadband annoyances, taking into account the main gripes of customers who pay for a high-speed internet connection.
Top of the pile was slow broadband speeds, which the website has pointed out can be eradicated by taking a number of steps.
"Consumers can download a free speed tester to find out what speed they are actually getting and then complain to their ISP if it is much slower then the service they are paying for," advised Broadband Choices.
Continuing: "Consumers can also boost their broadband speed by getting a wireless router signal booster, replacing their router antenna or by adding a wireless repeater."
Also making the top three were the frustration of restrictions on download limits and providers' taking a long time to send Migration Authorisation Code (MAC) when a customer decides to switch supplier.
