A new 24Mb broadband service has been launched by a company which claims to be the only business-focused ISP in the country.
Star has announced the arrival of its new product, which uses ADSL2 technology to bring super-fast broadband to British firms.
Featuring no download limits and what the provider terms as "a high-quality end-user experience", companies will be charged £39.99 per month for their subscriptions.
"Whilst there are other providers offering a range of high-speed broadband services, Star's is the first which is dedicated to UK businesses only," said Hugo Harber, head of convergence and network strategy at the broadband ISP.
"It's an important distinction which means that the customer not only gets access to the fast speeds available over the network, but they also have the reassurance of support from a team who understand their specific business requirements."
By next month, Star hopes to provide 40 per cent of the UK with access to its services.
