Customers searching around for the best broadband deal should note that NewNet is going to reduce its prices across the board.

The broadband supplier is knocking more than £5 per month off its 40Mb offer, meaning new subscribers will pay just £34.95.

NewNet is also reducing the cost of its set-up charges, which will now be £29.95 per month for those signing up.

A 50 per cent bandwidth allowance increase has also been confirmed, with broadband users opting for the ND LITE 12 deal seeing their monthly quota doubled.

"We receive such good customer feedback that we can tailor our plans on promotions to match demand and will have some more good news to announce shortly," said Peter Coates-Buglear, chief executive of NewNet.

NewNet became one of the UK's internet suppliers in 1995 – the company prides itself on a high-level of customer service.
