Three news

Laptop owners have been invited to enter a new competition launched by 3, with 1,000 dongles up for grabs.

The only catch is that no top-up or usage allowance is included with the offer, however, those on the look out for a similar device could do a lot worse than bag one for free.

According to the mobile broadband provider, the lucky winners of the ZTE MF627ZTE MF627 device will be drawn at random.

"Our lovely little dongles give you internet access wherever you go and they can even replace the broadband you have at home," said 3 in a statement. "No wires, no worries."

Continuing: "We'll contact you to tell you whether you’ve won or not, so you won't be left wondering."

The winners of the competition are expected to be drawn shortly after the closing time today (Tuesday, March 10th).

Computer equipment supplier Target recently agreed a deal with 3 to provide its mobile broadband starter kits.
