UK internet service provider Vivaciti has improved the affordability of two of its broadband packages.

The firm has lowered the price of its unbundled local loop unbundling (LLU) Unlimited and LLU 75GB broadband packages to £17.04 and £24.99 per month.

Consumers, who have until the end of March to take advantage of the broadband deals, are also able to activate their contracts for free.

Vivaciti says its broadband deals are suitable for a range of consumers, including those who are "light surfers" to those who are heavy peer-to-peer users.

"We have different packages to suit all needs, from totally unlimited data packages on our LLU service to allowance-type packages," the firm stated.

Last week, ZDNet reported that broadband provider Orange had lowered the roaming data rate for its mobile broadband services.
