Vodafone has updated its 30-day mobile broadband contract to include a free USB modem, a Basic PC Protection suit and 3GB of monthly data usage.

The package is priced at just £15 a month and has the benefit of not locking customers in for a lengthy contract.

With 3GB of date usage, people can surf the web for up to 100 hours, send 2,000 emails or download 200 music tracks.

According to Vodafone, its network now covers 80 per cent of the UK population, meaning people can access it in cafes and bars, on train, in the park and numerous other locations.

Anyone who does not mind committing to a 24-month contract could also opt for Vodafone's Standard package which comes with 3GB of data usage for £15 a month, with the first three months priced at just £5 a month.

For those who want a bigger data usage allowance, there are the Premium and Ultimate packages which offer 4GB and 5GB of usage a month respectively.
