Broadband subscribers looking to get their hands on Apple's iPad can now pre-order the tablet device.
The computing giant has confirmed that the systems, which have proved a major hit in the US with over one million sold, can now be ordered from its online store.
Prices for the device, which is available in versions with a 16GB, 32GB and 64GB hard drive, start at £429.
The iPad allows users to browse the web, read emails, share photos, watch high definition videos, listen to music and play games, while a range of apps for the tablet device are also available.
O2 and Vodafone have also announced the launch of data price plans designed to be used with the systems.
Vodafone's plans start at £10 a month for a 250MB data allowance, while O2 is offering both daily and monthly deals which include unlimited Wi-Fi access from BT Openzone and The Cloud hotspots.
