Internet service providers O2 and Vodafone have revealed the broadband price plans they are set to offer in conjunction with Apple's iPad.

O2 is offering a 500MB data plan for £2, while 1GB and 3GB monthly allowances are also set to be available for £10 and £15 respectively.

All of the tariffs include unlimited Wi-Fi access from BT Openzone and The Cloud hotspots, while customers will be notified directly via their iPad when they are close to their data limit.

In contrast, Vodafone is offering 250MB a month for £10, while people can access up to 5GB of data for £25 a month.

Apple recently confirmed it is now accepting pre-orders from the UK for its iPad tablet device, which will be available in stores from May 28th.

Consumers have the Wi-Fi only and Wi-Fi + 3G models to choose from, with hard drive capacities ranging from 16GB to 64GB.
