The Giant has become the latest fairytale character to join Sky's Broadband Happily Ever After campaign.

In a half-page advert taken out in the Metro newspaper, the internet service provider explains how the angry colossus, famously encountered by Jack at the top of his beanstalk, is now a contented Sky broadband customer.

"Free, fi, fo, fum, I smell up to 20Mb broadband from Sky," the Giant muses.

Sky notes how he already enjoys 20Mb web services for free with his subscription TV and landline calls package, but could take advantage of an even better deal for a small additional charge.

"His enormous buddies, all online film buffs, pay just £7.50 a month for unlimited usage with their Sky TV and calls," the ISP revealed.

Claiming that the Giant has "a nose for a bargain", the ISP suggested that he may also be interested in streaming live TV and movie content.

Under Sky's current usage policy, customers receiving free broadband must not exceed a monthly 2GB allowance.
