Plusnet news

Still trying to persuade all your friends and work colleagues to sign up for Plusnet's broadband services?

If you are, then you had better get a move on. The internet service provider (ISP) is withdrawing its current refer-a-friend promotion on October 10th, at which point subscribers will lose the opportunity to earn three months free broadband.

Under the terms of the offer, any Plusnet customers who recommends a new subscriber to the ISP is exempt from paying their broadband bill for the next three months.

And as an incentive to go along with the plan, the willing friend or family member is also treated to three months free service - worth almost £20 to Plusnet Value customers living in one of the firm's low cost areas.

"Sounds like a tempting offer, doesn't it? And it's really easy to get," commented Plusnet's Andrew Clayton.

"Make sure you give your Plusnet username to your friend so you get your discount. When prompted, your friend will need to enter the special code 'refer3' to get their three months free."

Plusnet Value offers download speeds of up to 20Mb and a 10GB monthly usage allowance from £6.49 per month.
