Orange news

Leading UK mobile broadband provider Orange has reduced the price of a number of its dongle deals, increasing their appeal to web users.

Consumers on pay monthly, pay-as-you-go and Orange home broadband deals can now receive a £5 discount per month on mobile broadband plans.

According to the internet service provider (ISP), the dongle services provide customers with the flexibility to surf, email and post updates wherever they are.

Orange has also re-introduced its 12-month price plans on new Dolphin and Racoon packages, each of which come with a 1GB monthly usage allowance.

Occasional mobile broadband users can also choose between Orange's Racoon packages offering 500MB on one and 12-month plans.

And pay-as-you-go customers can access the internet for 5p per megabyte of data, with no line rental requirement.

Earlier this week, the ISP announced the launch of its new mobile Wi-Fi device, which allows mobile and laptop users to create their own personal wireless broadband hotspots.
