Households signing up for Sky TV and broadband services can still get their hands on a free Sky+ box, but only for another fortnight.

All this month, the subscription TV and internet service provider has been offering the unit to new customers, enabling them to access a range of premium TV functions.

Viewers with a Sky+ box can pause and rewind live TV, record up to 185 hours of content to be watched at a later date, and set up series links.

The offer is open to customers who join Sky TV with Sky Broadband, Sky Sports or Sky Movies services, although each household is restricted to one box.

While sports and movies subscribers can take advantage of the offer up until the Christmas break, the offer is being pulled for broadband bundle customers in two weeks' time.

The free Sky+ box promotion will be withdrawn on December 9th, meaning would-be customers need to act quickly to take advantage of the deal.
