Virgin Media news

Leading internet service provider (ISP) Virgin Media is continuing to promote its half-price entertainment packs, which feature broadband services.

At present, the firm is offering broadband and calls packages from just £6.25 per month, allowing consumers to make significant savings in the run-up to Christmas.

Virgin Media's home phone and broadband bundles are currently available at a discount rate for the first six months of a new deal, rising to £12.75 per month after this introductory period.

In a Metro advert, the ISP said it offers consistently speedy fibre-optic broadband with unlimited downloads and unlimited weekend calls to landlines and Virgin mobiles.

TV, broadband and calls bundles are on offer at £9.50 a month, rising to £19.25 in month seven.

With this deal, consumers have access to 65 TV channels including Sky 1, "speedy" fibre-optic broadband and unlimited weekend calls.

Consumers can take advantage of the discount broadband packages providing they are willing to switch to a Virgin Media landline.
