Households desiring a Sky broadband bundle in time for Christmas are being urged to hurry by the internet service provider (ISP).
Sky says that with demand for its services set to be high over the festive period, consumers need to place an order within the next nine days or risk being left without a connection on December 25th.
Consumers need to have subscribed to a Sky broadband bundle by December 17th in order to ensure they are hooked up before the Christmas weekend, the ISP reports.
With a host of movie and TV premieres scheduled for later this month, a busy Premier League programme over the festive period, and England's cricketers doing well in the Ashes down under, Sky's TV and broadband packages are likely to be in hot demand.
In addition to subscription TV services, households can also receive free evening and weekend calls and 20Mb broadband services.
Sky says its packages offer "super-fast download speeds" to consumers living in networked areas, which are "perfect for online shopping, uploading pictures and everyday browsing".
