Three news

3 customers will soon be given a new option for accessing the web when the internet service provider (ISP) launches new deals featuring the Dell Inspiron Duo.

The mobile broadband provider noted that the dual-functioning laptop is "coming soon" to its deal range, along with the Samsung Galaxy Tab (P1000) and the Linx Commtiva N700.

Consumers taking out a Dell Inspiron Duo package will be able to enjoy "the best of both worlds", 3 claimed, as the device works as both a touch-screen tablet and laptop with in-built keyboard.

Users can switch between the two different modes using a "unique" flip-hinge design.

When in touchscreen tablet mode, the keyboard is concealed inside the unit, but opening the lid and turning the screen inwards allows users to type in the conventional QWERTY format.

According to 3, the inclusion of a keyboard makes writing emails, word processing and using spreadsheets "a breeze" for tablet users.

The ISP explained that the Inspiron Duo features Windows 7 Home Premium and is loaded with 320GB hard drive and 2GB memory.
