Internet service provider (ISP) TalkTalk has announced the launch of a new broadband deal, which may appeal to home internet users.
The broadband provider is offering consumers the opportunity to receive six months half-price on a new TalkTalk broadband package.
Consumers have two main options when taking out a TalkTalk broadband account – the Essentials or Plus package.
The current half-price broadband offer applies to the up to 24Mb TalkTalk Essentials option, which is ordinarily priced at £6.99 per month.
Broadband and calls are inclusive with the broadband deal, while consumers also receive a free wireless broadband router.
Up until month seven of subscribers' contracts, the broadband deal is priced at just £3.49 per month.
Households signing up for TalkTalk plus Anytime Calls or TalkTalk Plus are required to pay £11.48 and £14.99 per month respectively, although a free connection is included with both packages.
