UK households can potentially save money by signing up for a broadband bundle, one commentator has claimed.
According to personal finance expert Rosie Murray-West, consumers can often access cheaper broadband deals if they choose to bundle home phone, TV and line rental services.
Writing for the Telegraph, she explained that internet service providers usually offer discounts to customers who sign up for multiple services.
"You could consider a bundle, where you buy landline and internet, or landline, internet and a television package all at once. Sometimes these are cheaper options, especially if you want digital television," Ms Murray-West stated.
She also noted that the price of standalone broadband services has dropped significantly in recent years, as competition has increased in the market.
"But before deciding what is best for you, you need to decide what calls package you would like, and how much television and broadband you need," Ms Murray-West urged.
This week, Eclipse Internet announced that customers can now sign up for phone and line rental services as part of a broadband package.
