Consumers who sign up for a Vodafone dongle this week can make significant mobile broadband savings.

For one week only, the internet service provider is offering a free USB modem to any customer subscribing to its £7.50 30-day price plan.

The dongle deal includes a 500MB data allowance, which is sufficient for web browsing and email use.

Consumers who exceed this cap are charged at a rate of £7.50 extra for each additional block of 500MB they require.

1GB of Wi-Fi data is also included with the deal, enabling laptop users to take advantage of wireless broadband hotspots.

Ordinarily, the USB Modem is priced at £19 for consumers taking out this mobile broadband deal, meaning subscribers can save on their start-up costs.

UK consumers have five days left to capitalise on the broadband offer, which is to be withdrawn on Monday March 14th.
