TalkTalk has launched a new broadband deal offering half-price broadband and calls on its popular consumer packages.
From today (Tuesday July 5th), the broadband provider is offering a year-long, 50 per cent discount on TalkTalk Essentials, and six months' half-price on TalkTalk Plus.
The offer is set to run for three weeks, before being withdrawn on Tuesday July 26th, meaning consumers have plenty of time to decide whether to switch broadband provider.
For consumers signing up during the offer period, the entry-level package TalkTalk Essentials will be priced at £3.25 per month for a whole year.
Households will gain access to high-speed broadband, a 40GB monthly usage allowance, unlimited evening and weekend calls and a free wireless broadband router.
Subscribers also receive basic IT security software and access to free customer support.
Meanwhile, consumers seeking unlimited downloads and anytime calls can pay just £7.25 per month for the first six months of a TalkTalk Plus contract.
The broadband deal – which is ordinarily priced at £14.50 per month – enables consumers to download as much as they want, and make landline calls at any time free of charge.
A free Wi-Fi router is again included, as are free customer support and online security.
With both broadband deals, a free connection worth £30 also applies to customers signing up online, adding to the savings that can be made with a TalkTalk broadband package.
A line rental fee of £12.60 per month applies to both broadband deals, while the offer is only open to new customers taking out a 12-month contract and paying by direct debit.
