O2 news

O2 is giving UK consumers the opportunity to make significant savings on their home broadband services.

From today (Friday December 23rd), the broadband provider is offering three months' free internet service to consumers signing up for its two most popular deals.

The offer applies to all new O2 customers signing up for The All Rounder and The Works broadband deals, and is scheduled to run until New Year's Eve.

Consumers who have been an O2 mobile customer for more than two years can take advantage of an even more attractive offer, as reward for their loyalty to the firm.

The broadband provider is offering a 50 per cent discount to O2 mobile subscribers signing up for home broadband services.

With The All Rounder broadband deal, consumers can take advantage of 20Mb downloads and 1.3Mb upload speeds.

A double-strength wireless broadband router is also included, helping customers to make the most of their unlimited monthly usage allowance.

Subscribers also receive free 24/7 customer support, up to ten email addresses, an O2 calendar, McAfee security and 200 web texts a month.

The All Rounder is priced at £17.50 per month, meaning consumers can save more than £50 through the firm's latest broadband offer.

Existing O2 mobile customers are entitled to a £5 per month discount, meaning they pay just £12.50 per month.

Subscribers also have the option of taking out O2 home phone services for an additional £7.50 per month.

For £26 per month - or £21 for O2 mobile customer of 2+ years - The Works offers 20Mb downloads, 2.5Mb upload speeds and an unlimited usage allowance.

As with The All Rounder, subscribers receive a 'best' wireless broadband router, while the broadband package also includes a static IP address, 24/7 customer support, up to ten email addresses, an O2 calendar, five McAfee Security licences and 500 web texts a month.
