Plusnet has launched a new broadband deal for consumers taking out internet and home phone services.

UK households signing up for Plusnet Value Broadband or Plusnet Extra Broadband with Talk Evenings & Weekends or Talk Anytime can now take advantage of six months' free internet service.

This gives consumers the opportunity to make significant savings on their broadband and home phone package during this introductory period.

Subscribers can also use as much data as they like between midnight and 8am - which is great for consumers who enjoy downloading films and music.

McAfee security is available to broadband deal customers, while subscribers can also utilise a 24/7 call centre.

Evening and weekend calls are included as part of the package, however consumers need to upgrade their contract if they want unlimited home phone usage.

Plusnet Value Broadband with Talk Anytime costs £9.99 per month, with households paying an extra £3.50 per month for unrestricted landline usage.

With both phone options, a £12.99 per month line rental fee applies, although this can be reduced to £9.49 if customers pay in advance online.

Plusnet Extra Broadband with Talk Evening & Weekend Calls is priced at £11.49 per month.

Subscribers receive up to 16Mb download speeds, a 60GB usage allowance with unlimited overnight data, and a free wireless broadband router.
