TalkTalk is helping UK households to save money on their broadband services, the firm has claimed.
According to Tristia Clarke, Commercial Director at the firm, consumers can significantly reduce their communications costs when switching broadband provider.
"Based on the average saving a TalkTalk customer makes when they switch to TalkTalk, Britain could be £1.4 billion better off because of our great value services," she claimed.
"We are helping to make Britain better off by getting as many of the 8.1 million digitally excluded online for the first time."
Ms Clarke noted that TalkTalk has also reduced the cost of all chargeable engineer visits from £129 to £50, helping customers to save money.
She said there has never been a better time to join TalkTalk, with the firm's latest broadband offer giving consumers the chance to save up to £305 compared to some competitors.
