TalkTalk has added to the appeal of its broadband and home phone packages by offering a £25 Love2Shop voucher to new subscribers.

Consumers signing up for the entry-level TalkTalk Essentials package and higher-tier TalkTalk Plus are entitled to a free gift certificate, which can be used at over 20,000 high street stores across the UK.

The voucher is available to all new broadband and home phone subscribers, except where an engineer is required to install or reactivate a landline.

Households signing up for TalkTalk Essentials receive broadband speeds of up to 14Mb and an unlimited monthly usage allowance.

For a limited time only, they can also take advantage of a 50 per cent discount offer, which allows them to receive half-price broadband and calls for 12 months.

Subscribers are entitled to inclusive evening and weekend calls to UK landlines, plus ten per cent off the 16 phone numbers they call most frequently at other times.

A free connection worth £30 adds to the appeal of the broadband deal, as does the inclusion of HomeSafe network security software.

With 12 months' half-price factored into the mix, consumers pay just £3.25 per month plus a £9.50 per month line rental fee for unlimited broadband and evening and weekend calls.

For households seeking unlimited anytime calls, TalkTalk Plus is available for just £7.25 per month for the first six months, rising to £14.50 thereafter.

Again subscribers can take advantage of up to 14Mb download speeds and an unlimited usage allowance, subject to a fair usage policy.

As with TalkTalk Essentials, subscribers are entitled to a free connection worth £30 and a free £25 Love2Shop voucher.

TalkTalk Plus subscribers can also take advantage of 12 months' access to LOVEFiLM movies and TV content, streamed over the internet.
