Be Broadband is giving UK households the opportunity to sign up for half-price internet services in its 'End of Summer' offer.

The service provider is offering a 50 per cent discount on broadband for the first 12 months of a consumer's contract.

All they have to do to take advantage of the deal is use the promotion code 'HalfPriceSep' when subscribing over the internet.

"This summer has been a pretty good one; although the Jubilee was a bit damp we finally had some good weather in time for an amazing Olympic Games and now we’ve an equally amazing Paralympic Games to enjoy," Be Broadband stated.

"While that’s difficult to top, we've got something to keep the spirit alive with our 'End Of Summer' offer of 12 months' broadband for the price of six."

Consumers can sign up to any Be Broadband deal - Value, Unlimited or Pro - over the next months and receive half-price internet.

"So whether you’re a student needing to sort out internet at your new house, or just looking to get some new internet for the year, head over to our website here and get a year’s broadband for half the price," the provider stated.

The broadband offer is only available to households signing up on a 12-month contract.

The firm's entry-level broadband deal Be Value offers download speeds of up to 10Mb and uploads of up to 1Mb along with unlimited downloads.

A wireless modem is also included, while subscribers receive a free connection and free 24/7 customer support.

The broadband deal is priced at £17 per month, however a 50 per cent discount applies for the entirety of a 12-month contract.
