EE has launched a range of super-fast fibre broadband services aimed at UK households.

The broadband provider - which has also launched 4G mobile broadband services this week - is offering home broadband speeds of up to 76Mb.

According to EE, this is fast enough to stream HD TV, play online games uninterrupted and download films in an instant over the internet.

UK consumers are currently able to sign up to the firm's 76Mb broadband package for just £25 per month plus line rental.

This includes a £5 discount for existing EE, Orange and T-Mobile customers.

Subscribers are able to take advantage of an unlimited monthly data allowance and inclusive off-peak calls to UK landlines.

For £20 per month, households can enjoy speeds of up to 38Mb, an unlimited usage allowance and inclusive evening and weekend calls.

And for £15 per month, EE subscribers are able to download at up to 38Mb with a 40GB per month usage allowance.

Each customer receives a free EE wireless broadband router - described by the firm as its "most powerful ever".

The router is fast, strong, reliable and simple to set up, the broadband provider claimed.

"Fibre Broadband runs typically ten times faster than the average speed of standard broadband in the UK," it added.

"So live TV, films from EE's Film Store, HD clips from YouTube… now you can stream them all."

The broadband provider said that with a fibre connection, it doesn't matter how many people in the home use the internet at the same time.

"With a super-fast, reliable connection and unlimited data plans, there's plenty of broadband to go round," EE stated.

"Once you're online with fibre broadband, you're more likely to stay connected at the same great speed, even with lots of you doing different things at peak times."
