Virgin Media TV viewers are being given the opportunity to watch a host of great files through the PictureBox service.

The broadband, home phone and TV provider is offering free PictureBox trials to its customers throughout February 2013.

This means consumers can tune into a host of top movies - including comedies, dramas, horror films, sci-fi and much more - for free.

Ordinarily, a PictureBox subscription costs £5 per month.

"There are no strings attached to this trial – just 60 great films, from recent blockbusters to old favourites, with loads in HD," Virgin Media stated.

"They are all ready and waiting for you on your telly, so, bagsy your seat on the sofa and decide what you fancy watching. It’s your call."

Among the movies available on-demand throughout February are Kindergarten Cop, Babe: Pig in the City, Thunderbirds, The Hulk, Pride and Prejudice, Lost in Translation, Duplicity and Mr Bean's Holiday.
