UK consumers have the chance to win tickets to a host of top sporting events if they sign up for Sky Sports this summer.

Sky is giving away tickets to the prestigious Monaco Grand Prix and the British & Irish Lions' tour of Australia, among other prizes.

All customers signing up for Sky Sports - whether they are new to pay-TV or an existing Sky customer - will be entered into free prize draws this summer.

Draw 1 - to be staged on May 20th - will see Sky give away a pair of tickets for the Monaco Grand Prix, with flights, helicopter transfers and four-star accommodation included.

In the second draw, on June 3rd, the service provider will offer two tickets to see the Lions take on The Wallabies in the first test in Brisbane, plus flights and seven nights' accommodation.

The main prize in Draw 3 - which takes place on June 17th - is grandstand tickets for the British Grand Prix weekend, plus travel and accommodation.

And in the final draw on July 1st, Sky will give away a pair of tickets to all five days of the 5th Ashes Test at the Oval, with a five-night stay in a London hotel included.

A host of other prizes are also up for grabs in each draw, including 50 pairs of tickets to the 2013 British Grand Prix and 50 pairs of tickets to the Ashes 2013.

Sky is also giving away 500 Wireless Connectors, 200 2TB Sky+HD boxes, 7,500 Sky Go Extra subscriptions free for one month, and 100 six-month Sky World HD subscriptions, with a Sky+HD box and standard set-up.

Existing Sky TV customers can upgrade to Sky Sports - receiving six dedicated channels - for £21 extra per month. A £5 per month discount applies to existing customers who upgrade their package over the internet.

Meanwhile, households can sign up to Sky TV with a Sky Sports package from £42.50 per month, receiving a £100 M&S voucher and a free Sky+HD box in the process.
