Double-speed 4G services have gone live in another five towns and cities this week, it has been revealed.
EE has launched super-fast mobile broadband in Sunderland, Sutton Coldfield, Walsall, West Bromwich and Wolverhampton.
As such, consumers and businesses in 20 different urban centres are now able to enjoy average mobile download speeds of between 24Mb and 30Mb.
Olaf Swantee, Chief Executive Officer at EE, said the firm has set itself a target of constructing not only the biggest 4G network in the UK, but the fastest too.
"It's a commitment we're delivering on day-in, day-out for the people and businesses of Britain," he stated.
Mr Swantee explained that 4G services are now available in 100 towns and cities across the UK, but EE does not plan to stop there.
"With more devices, more unique plans and more coverage than ever before, 4G from EE really is paving the way for the UK's digital revolution," he claimed.
