hunger games catching fire

TalkTalk TV viewers can now watch the second instalment in the Hunger Games film series via TalkTalk Box Office.

'The Hunger Games: Catching Fire' is the latest hit movie to be made available on-demand to viewers with a YouView set-top box.

Released in 2013, the film is the follow-up to smash-hit 'The Hunger Games', which hit cinema screens a year earlier.

The series is based on Suzanne Collins' dystopian novels, with Oscar-winning actress Jennifer Lawrence playing the lead role of Katniss Everdeen.

In the second film, the heroine is forced to deal with the consequences of becoming the people's hero, having won the 74th Hunger Games.

Katniss returns home to District 12 with co-victor Peeta Mellark to find her actions in the death-or-glory contest have inspired widespread rioting.

Eager to reassert his authority, President Snow announces a special Hunger Games - the Third Quarter Quell - which sees the heroine forced to return to the battle arena.

TalkTalk Box Office allows YouView users to rent films for 48 hours at a time, enabling them to watch the latest releases without a Sky Movies subscription.
