Virgin Media is offering a New Year's bonus to UK consumers signing up for its range of TV, phone and broadband packages.

For a limited time only, the cable operator is offering up to £100 account credit to new subscribers signing up for a Big Bundle.

Up until January 6th, Virgin Media is offering £50 off the Big Easy package, £75 off the Big Bang, and £100 discounts on its Big Kahuna and Big Daddy deals.

The New Year's offer applies to new customers signing up for the broadband bundles on an 18-month contract by Tuesday January 6th.

The entry-level package is the Big Bang, which offers up to 50Mb unlimited broadband, weekend calls, up to 60 TV channels and a 500GB TiVo box.

This broadband deal is currently priced at £16 per month plus line rental for the first 12 months, rising to £22 per month plus line rental thereafter.

With the Big Bang - which offers £75 bill credit - customers receive up to 100Mb broadband, weekend calls, 130 TV channels and a 500GB TiVo box.

The price is ordinarily £32 per month plus line rental, however for the first 12 months customers pay £25 plus line rental.

Virgin Media's Big Kahuna package is the first of the options for customers seeking £100 credit with their new broadband deal.

Priced at £39 per month plus line rental for one year, rising to £49 per month plus line rental, it offers top speeds of 152Mb, unlimited usage, weekend calls, over 230 TV channels - including BT Sport - and a 500GB TiVo box.

The top-tier broadband bundle is the Big Daddy, which costs £85 per month plus line rental for 12 months, rising to £99 thereafter.

For this, subscribers receive 152Mb unlimited broadband, anytime calls to UK landlines and a 1TB TiVo box with at least 260 channels.

Sky Sports, Sky Movies and BT Sport are all included with the Big Daddy, while there are various catch-up and on-demand viewing options.

With each of the four Virgin Media broadband bundles, customers can watch TV channels online via web-enabled PCs, tablets and other mobiles.

They can also take advantage of a six-month free Netflix subscription, which comes as part of each of the broadband deals.
