New customers signing up to Virgin Media's new Big Kahuna TV, broadband and internet deal can benefit from a free Samsung tablet and Tivo box, for a limited time only.

The bundle costs just £39 a month for the first 12 months, and £49 a month thereafter, and includes 153Mb broadband, which Virgin Media says is up to 12 times faster than regular broadband.

The deal includes unlimited downloads with no caps and no hidden charges and a free Super Hub, as well as free online security for 12 months.

Also included in the package is unlimited weekend calls to UK landlines, 0870 numbers and Virgin Mobile numbers, as well as free voicemail and the ability to use inclusive calls from a home phone talk plan on a mobile over Wi-Fi through Virgin Media's free SmartCall app.

On the TV front, customers can benefit from a free 500GB TiVo box, which offers the ability to pause, rewind and record TV, as well as up to 250 hours of recordings and the ability to record three channels and watch one already recorded.

The set-top box also offers the ability to watch catch-up TV including BBC iPlayer, ITV Player, 4OD & Sky On Demand, TV box sets on demand including Sky On Demand, and pay-per-view movies, while customers can also watch TV on PC, tablet and mobile.

For a limited time only, those signing up can also get free installation, and will furthermore receive a free Samsung Galaxy Tab 4, which can be used to stream live TV and view catch-up content. The Big Kahuna is currently £39 a month for the first 12 months of an 18-month contract for those signing up online, then £49 per month thereafter, with £16.99 a month line rental payable, though the offer ends soon, so those looking to take advantage need to act fast.
