The Barclays Premier League relegation battle continues this weekend on BT Sport, with a televised game on Saturday lunchtime (May 9th).

Struggling Sunderland take on Everton at Goodison Park (kick-off 12:45pm), in a match they need to win to boost their top-flight survival chances.

The Black Cats find themselves in the bottom three following recent wins for Aston Villa, Leicester City and Hull City, and as such, need to get points on the board quickly.

Dick Advocaat's side have taken seven from the last 12 available, and have a game in-hand over their nearest rivals. But they still have difficult away games at Arsenal and the champions Chelsea still to come, which makes Saturday's game all the more crucial.

Everton are looking to finish a disappointing campaign with a string of good results, to boost confidence on the blue half of Merseyside ahead of the summer break.

All season long, Roberto Martinez's side have struggled for consistency. This was emphasised by the Toffees following their recent 3-0 win over Manchester United with a 3-2 defeat at lowly Aston Villa.

There are plenty more games to look forward to on BT Sport this weekend, starting with PSG v Guingamp from Ligue 1 at 7:30pm on Friday May 8th, and a Scottish Premiership clash between Motherwell and Kilmarnock at 7:45pm.

Saturday's action gets underway with the Hyundai A-League Semi-Final between Sydney FC and Adelaide United at 10:30am, before a noon kick-off in the Bundesliga: Kaiserslautern v St Pauli.

Queen of the South v Rangers - the Scottish Premiership Play-Off Quarter-Final 1st Leg - is live on BT Sport 1 at 5:30pm, before Bordeaux v Nantes from France's top flight at 7pm and AC Milan v Roma from Italy at 7:45pm.

On Sunday May 10th, there are three Serie A games live on BT Sport: Chievo v Verona at 11:30am, Parma v Lazio at 5pm and Lazio v Inter Milan at 7:45pm.

The two games from France's Ligue 1 are RC Lens v Montpellier at 1pm and Marseille v Monaco at 8pm.

Viewers can also watch Man City Women v Chelsea Ladies in the FA Women's Super League at 6pm and tune in to Cruzeiro v Corinthians from Campeonato Brasileiro Serie A at 8pm.
