Plusnet news

?Plusnet has announced it is to add BT Sport Lite content to the YouView TV packages for its Unlimited Fibre broadband and phone customers.

According to ISPreview, the main motivation behind the move is to make its YouView television services more popular for customers, with the new changes set to take effect from tomorrow (August 5th).

Plusnet customers usually pay an extra £5 a month for TV services, which already include the standard Entertainment package, boasting channels such as Discovery, FOX, MTV, SyFy and History.

BT Sport Lite will now be bundled into many subscriptions free of charge, while for a small extra cost they can also enjoy other channel upgrades.

Subscribers can still get the full BT Sport package from August 5th for an extra £5 a month, with the bundle to include BT Sport 1, BT Sport 2, BT Sport Europe, BT Sport ESPN and BT Sport Extra.

For an extra £3 a month, users can reportedly also get all of these channels in high definition (with the exception of BT Sport Extra) as part of the YouView HD Pack.
