TalkTalk has sweetened its broadband service for existing customers by reducing the cost of upgrading to its Superfast Fibre Broadband package.

Subscribers on the provider's Simply Broadband deal can now access unlimited superfast fibre broadband speeds of up to 38Mbps for £7.50 extra a month for six months and £10 thereafter.

TalkTalk claims the new deal will give customers a service up to five times faster than their current connection.

The new pricing structure represents a 25% reduction on the previous rate for TalkTalk's Superfast Fibre Broadband package, although it is still subject to a £25 connection fee and line rental of £16.70 per month.

With many broadband providers currently aiming to attract new fibre customers, TalkTalk hopes its latest offer will help to retain existing subscribers, but they only have until August 30th to sign up to the deal.
