XLN has launched its new Super Router, which it believes offers small businesses the "latest in broadband innovation".

The device uses dual band wireless technology to offer faster and smoother surfing both for superfast and fibre broadband users.

In tests against standard routers, the Super Router was found to work up to three times faster.

However, XLN pointed out that its fibre network delivers speeds that are up to ten times faster than basic business broadband.

As a result, it says customers with a Super Router will be able to expect superfast business fibre broadband as standard.

"Faster broadband means your business can run more efficiently and that can only be a good thing," XLN commented.

"The fibre router also offers more bandwidth for users, with gigabit networking support on all Ethernet ports allowing multiple users to connect and enjoy higher bandwidth."

XLN also went on to state that the technology is highly secure, as it includes the latest security features and a built-in firewall.

As a result, business customers will be able to "browse, download, upload and surf with confidence", and feel confident everything they do online is "safe and secure".

In addition, it confirmed that the XLN Super Router is ready to use straight away, so business owners do not have to spend lots of time setting it up.

XLN added that the Super Router is "the next generation in broadband technology, and it’s already helping small businesses up and down the country get things done more efficiently".
