EE has unveiled two new mobile broadband devices that connect Wi-Fi enabled devices to its superfast 4G network.

The 4GEE Wi-Fi and 4GEE Wi-Fi Mini essentially allow customers to set up their own personal, secure Wi-Fi hotspot.

The former enables users to access its superfast 4G+ speeds to provide a higher capacity connection on up to ten devices at any one time.

It also comes with a powerful battery bank and can therefore also serve as a charger.

The device is available on various pay monthly price plans starting from £11 a month, and pay as you go for £79.99.

Meanwhile, EE believes the 4GEE WiFi Mini is a more compact and convenient way to stay online either via a tablet or laptop.

This device is considerably smaller than its predecessor and being marketed as "ideal for those who are always on the move".

Customers can purchase the 4GEE Wi-Fi Mini on numerous pay monthly price plans at a cost of £11 a month upwards. Pay as you go subscribers can get the device for £39.99.

Sharon Meadows, Director of Devices at EE, commented: "As leaders in the UK 4G Wi-Fi market, we’re continually looking to launch the latest mobile broadband devices.

"Our new 4GEE Wi-Fi hotspots are designed for those who want a compact device that makes the very most from our award-winning network when on the move.”
