Virgin Media is partnering with the Home Builders Federation (HBF) to offer ultrafast broadband services to new homes.
Residential properties will be created with the infrastructure in place to provide broadband speeds of up to 200Mbps.
Occupants of the new homes will also be able to access more than 230 TV channels and landline services.
Furthermore, people who move into the properties can take advantage of exclusive discounts offered by Virgin Media.
Stewart Baseley, Executive Chairman of the HBF, commented: "The buyers of new homes understandably have very high expectations of the property they move into, and house builders strive to meet and surpass those expectations.
"With connectivity now vital to the way we live our lives, being able to equip today’s modern, high quality housing with 21st century connectivity is a key consideration for builders."
Paul Buttery, Chief Operating Officer at Virgin Media, added that the partnership will lead to developers building modern homes equipped with the most up-to-date broadband infrastructure.
"With our network growing at a faster pace than ever, the more demand we get from developers, the more we can do to support them," he said.
The scheme forms part of Virgin Media's £3 billion Project Lightning network expansion, which will see 17 million premises connected to its ultrafast broadband network by 2019.
Virgin Media believes it is currently on track to add more than 500,000 premises throughout 2016.
