BT is offering a prepaid Reward card worth £120 with several of its fibre broadband bundles.

A BT Reward card simply needs to be activated before being spent at any retailer that shows a MasterCard logo.   Since the card uses Chip and PIN, BT believes it is a more secure alternative to spending physical cash.

Among the packages to include the freebie is the BT Infinity Fibre Unlimited Broadband & Calls deal.

This offers broadband speeds of up to 52Mbps, which means it is five times faster than the UK average broadband speed.

Subscribers will also benefit from unlimited downloads, 200GB of cloud storage and be able to connect at more than five million Wi-Fi hotspots.

The 12-month contract costs £31.99 a month (plus a £9.99 set-up fee), which means it offers savings on broadband worth £96 across the whole year and a broadband activation discount worth £50.

A prepaid BT Reward card is not the only freebie to come with this bundle, as the provider is also throwing in a prepaid M&S card as a further incentive to sign up.

The same freebies are also available with the BT Infinity Fibre 2 Unlimited Broadband & Calls package.

This offers broadband speeds of up to 76Mbps and unlimited downloads, 100GB of cloud storage and BT Virus Protect on 15 devices.

The 12-month contract costs £44.99 per month (plus a £9.99 set-up cost). This means that subscribers will save £60 on their broadband over the year and get a broadband activation discount worth £50.
