Virgin Media is offering a new discount in the run up to Christmas by knocking £10 a month off the cost of its broadband deals.
ISPReview.co.uk reports that the offer is available on the company's standalone broadband packages and the discounted rate will apply for 12 months.
This means the company's Vivid 50 deal, which provides average download speeds of 54Mbps, will now cost £25 per month for the first year, before reverting to the standard price of £35.
Meanwhile, the Vivid 100 package, with average speeds of 108Mbps, has been reduced to £30 for the first 12 months, and the 213Mbps Vivid 200 deal has been cut to £35 per month.
Finally, the company's fastest broadband package, the Vivid 350 deal, which delivers average speeds of 362Mbps, will cost £40 per month for the first year.
All these deals require a one-off £25 activation fee and come with a free SuperHub v3 wireless router, unlimited downloads, internet security and parental controls, and access to Virgin's UK network of Wi-Fi hotspots.
The offer ends on December 23rd, so consumers have a week to take advantage of these discounted rates.
