*The "up to" speed displayed in Mb is the maximum possible speed you are likely to receive for this product. The actual speed you will get depends on your cabling, your area and (with non-fibre optic products) time of day and how far you are from the telephone exchange. Most providers will tell you the likely speed you will receive when you begin your online sign up - this may differ from the speed displayed in the table.

The deals available at your postcode are subject to local availability. The provider will confirm availability for your line.

We aim to take the strain out of broadband comparison. Good broadband deals aren't just about the price, it's also about what's included in the product, the speeds offered and any extra incentives providers are offering. To balance all of these, we have developed a ranking formula that takes into account deals that are proving to be popular with our customers, that are competitive in the maket and have a smooth switching process.

If you prefer, you can sort deals by the average monthly cost, which is all of the costs - including any compulsory upfront costs such as router delivery or installation fee - divided by the length of the contract. Or you can sort by the total contract cost for all packages which let’s you see the total spend for the whole contract period

uSwitch services are provided at no cost to you, but we may receive a commission from the companies we refer you to.

BT Sport combines live Premier League football with coverage of the Aviva Premiership rugby, MotoGP, UFC and action from all the top European football leagues.

BT Sport's major selling point compared with some rival sports broadcasters is that it's completely free to BT broadband customers.

BT's offering consists of four channels: BT Sport 1, BT Sport 2, BT Sport 3 and BT Sport ESPN. These are free to all BT broadband customers.

However, there is one caveat to bear in mind: If broadband is the only BT service you subscribe to, you’ll only be able to watch BT Sport for free on your desktop or laptop computer, or on a tablet or smartphone. You won't be able to watch BT Sport on your TV unless you pay to add it to your current package.

If you want to enjoy BT Sport for free on your TV, you’ll need to be a BT TV customer, too, with a YouView set-top box.

BT Sport or Sky Sport: Which is best?

The line-up of programming on BT sports channels is enviable — but it’s not quite as extensive as Sky Sports.

Sky Sports features a massive range of marquee sports events across six channels (Sky Sports 1-5 and the Sky F1 channel), as well as a dedicated sports news channel.

However, what is evident is that there’s a significant difference in price. While BT Sport is free to BT customers, subscribing to Sky Sports costs extra.

I’m not with BT. Can I still get BT Sport?
