The Samsung Cetus looks like to be the company's debut Windows Phone 7 smartphone, after information about its hardware specifications leaked online.
Details of the smartphone surfaced on an entry on Bluetooth SIG, which was publicised by Engadget.
Other specs mentioned in the report include a four-inch AMOLED display, a five megapixel camera, onboard GPS and high speed network connectivity - all of which means that it will be roughly on par with Samsung's other top-end efforts.
The handset is widely expected to go on sale in late September to coincide with the official launch of the latest iteration of Microsoft's mobile phone operating system.
Samsung has yet to confirm if it plans to bring the Cetus to the UK.
