Samsung has issued a user guide for Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS) on the Galaxy S2, giving UK owners a comprehensive look at what the revamped OS offers before it lands later this week.
Unearthed by Coolsmartphone, the manual talks owners of the blockbuster blower through how to update their handset via Sammy’s proprietary download solution Kies.
And there’s plenty of gen about how to navigate the phone once you’ve got ICS, as well as an outline of the new features the latest version of Android brings to the S2 too, such as Face Unlock.
Already rolling out to the S2 in parts of northern Europe and in Sammy’s domestic South Korean market, ICS is set to wend its way to unlocked Galaxy S2 handsets in the UK some time this week.
Those of you who bought your phones on contracts will have longer to wait, however, while your carriers finish testing the update and ensure it works with their services. Alas, experience tells us you could be looking at a few months of twiddling your thumbs yet.
