And so it begins. Android 4.0 - aka Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS) - is finally rolling out on the Samsung Galaxy Note, it has been confirmed.
Although Samsung hasn’t officially announced the release, it appears some lucky users have already received an over the air update bringing the hot-selling ‘phablet’ up to speed with the latest crop of Android kits.
Features the latest platform refresh brings include numerous UI and performance tweaks, a new Face Unlock feature that does what it says on the tin, enhanced multitasking and updated versions of native apps.
Also on board are new apps that make use of the S Pen stylus as part of a ‘Premium Suite’ created specially for the device.
The update comes at a sizable 318.89MB, so downloading over a Wi-Fi connection is strongly recommended so as not to eat into your data allowance. It might also be a good idea to back up your data first in case something goes awry.
