A natty pink edition of the Samsung Galaxy Note is hitting the UK next month, Carphone Warehouse has confirmed.
The retail giant is listing the phone-tablet-phablet on the ‘coming soon’ section of its site with a mooted due date of June.
Alas, there’s no price specified. But assuming it’s in line with the standard version of Sammy’s half-phone, half-tablet hybrid, expect to pick it up free on contracts from £20.50 per month over a two-year term.
Something of a sleeper hit with sales of five million and counting, despite a low-key launch in Europe, the Note teams a 5.4-inch Super AMOLED HD screen at its centre with stylus support for note-taking and 1.4 GHz dual-core processor.
Completing the picture is an eight megapixel snapper with auto-focus and LED flash, HD video recording and 16GB of internal storage.
The Note runs the ageing, but far from creaky Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) out of the box.
However, an update to the newer Ice Cream Sandwich version of the operating system is due along any day now and adds some smart new apps to take advantage of the S-Pen stylus.
